Position Summary

Radiant Softwash, LLC. is seeking a dependable, safety-focused, and motivated Crew Leader / Field Supervisor to lead field crews performing residential and commercial exterior cleaning services.

The Crew Leader is a hands-on leadership position responsible for supervising employees at assigned job sites while actively participating in the work. This position is responsible for ensuring that jobs are completed safely, efficiently, professionally, and according to Radiant Softwash quality standards.

The Crew Leader serves as the primary field representative of Radiant Softwash and is expected to demonstrate professionalism when interacting with customers, employees, property managers, vendors, and the public.

Primary Responsibilities

The Crew Leader / Field Supervisor will:

• Lead and supervise assigned technicians and helpers during daily operations.
• Review job requirements with the crew before beginning work.
• Conduct a pre-job inspection and identify potential hazards, property damage, delicate surfaces, electrical hazards, drainage concerns, pedestrian traffic, vehicle traffic, and other job-site risks.
• Assign duties and establish an efficient workflow for each project.
• Perform pressure washing, soft washing, surface cleaning, window cleaning, and other assigned cleaning services alongside crew members.
• Ensure employees use appropriate PPE and follow company safety procedures.
• Verify that chemicals are mixed, handled, applied, transported, and stored according to company procedures and manufacturer instructions.
• Select appropriate pressure, flow, nozzles, chemicals, equipment, and cleaning methods for the surface being cleaned.
• Prevent damage caused by excessive pressure, improper chemical application, incorrect equipment use, or poor cleaning techniques.
• Protect landscaping, customer property, equipment, vehicles, structures, electrical components, and surrounding areas.
• Inspect work throughout the project and perform a final quality-control inspection before leaving the property.
• Take required before-and-after photographs and complete required job documentation.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding arrival, job progress, concerns, and completion.
• Immediately report property damage, injuries, accidents, equipment failures, customer complaints, or unusual conditions to management.
• Train and coach new and existing crew members on company procedures, equipment operation, safety, customer service, and cleaning techniques.
• Monitor employee performance, attendance, productivity, conduct, and compliance with company policies.
• Ensure company vehicles, trailers, pressure washers, hoses, surface cleaners, tools, chemicals, and other equipment are properly maintained and secured.
• Complete end-of-job equipment and inventory checks.
• Maintain clean and organized vehicles, trailers, equipment, and work areas.
• Assist management with improving field procedures, employee performance, and customer satisfaction.

Leadership Expectations

Crew Leaders are expected to lead by example. This includes arriving on time, maintaining a professional appearance, following safety procedures, treating employees and customers respectfully, protecting company and customer property, and maintaining high standards of workmanship.

The Crew Leader has authority to direct assigned crew members while on the job site. Serious disciplinary matters, termination decisions, pricing changes, refunds, contract changes, or other management-level decisions must be referred to company management unless specifically authorized.

Safety Responsibilities

Safety is a primary responsibility of this position.

The Crew Leader must:

• Conduct job-site safety assessments.
• Require appropriate PPE.
• Maintain safe work zones around active cleaning operations.
• Monitor hoses, cords, equipment, chemicals, and trip hazards.
• Ensure equipment is operated within manufacturer and company requirements.
• Prevent unsafe pressure-washing practices.
• Stop work when conditions create an unreasonable risk of injury or property damage.
• Immediately report workplace injuries and accidents.
• Follow applicable company, OSHA, environmental, and job-site safety requirements.

Crew Leaders have the authority and responsibility to stop work immediately when they believe an unsafe condition exists.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record when driving company vehicles is required.
• Reliable transportation to the assigned reporting location.
• Ability to lead and communicate effectively with employees.
• Strong customer-service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work independently and make reasonable field decisions.
• Ability to use mobile applications for job documentation, photographs, scheduling, and communication.
• Ability to work outdoors in Texas weather conditions.
• Ability to safely perform physically demanding work.
• Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or changing schedules when required by customer or commercial service needs.

Previous supervisory, pressure washing, soft washing, commercial cleaning, construction, landscaping, property maintenance, or similar field-service experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements

The position may require employees to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Bend, kneel, crouch, reach, push, and pull.
• Repeatedly handle hoses and cleaning equipment.
• Lift and carry approximately 50 pounds independently and heavier equipment with assistance.
• Work around water, cleaning solutions, noise, outdoor temperatures, and wet surfaces.
• Enter and exit work vehicles frequently.
