The Experience Associate is responsible for ensuring everyone involved in The Bay’s programming has a high-quality experience. Experience Associates oversee a safe, inclusive environment for all people who visit our space, including parents, colleagues, and youth. Experience Associates facilitate the smooth running of The Bay’s programs, from set up to teardown, to visitor check-in and general facility care and cleanliness. Late night and weekend availability is a must.



  • Maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment at all times, ensuring visitors follow all rules and policies
  • Learn and utilize The Bay’s check-in system and other necessary software/systems (e.g., Eventbrite, Square, etc.) for all programming and events
  • Thoroughly and consistently complete opening, closing, and on-duty procedures during each shift
  • Maintain a clean and tidy environment, including bathrooms, common areas, desks, skatepark, venue, and vehicles, which includes taking out trash, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing all handrails and door handles, among other cleaning responsibilities
  • Operate cash drawer and conduct transactions according to training and policies 
  • Ensure that the facility is properly secured and armed upon closing
  • Support The Bay’s on- and off-site programming by checking in visitors, ensuring waivers are filled out, helmets are being worn, and that all necessary equipment is set up and maintained
  • Show up to every scheduled shift on time, and follow scheduling and communication policies whenever you’re unable to make a scheduled shift 
  • Actively and appropriately engage in regular staff meetings and trainings
  • Adhere to Rabble Mill’s policies and ethical guidelines at all times 
  • Uphold and promote Rabble Mill’s mission and core values at all times
