Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the installation and maintenance of landscapes:

- Plant trees, shrubs, flowers, and other vegetation.

- Install and maintain irrigation systems.

- Lay sod, seed lawns, and perform mulching.

2. Perform lawn maintenance tasks:

- Mow and edge lawns using appropriate equipment.

- Trim and prune trees, hedges, and bushes.

- Weed gardens and remove debris.

3. Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment:

- Safely operate and maintain landscaping machinery such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools.

- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.

4. Adhere to safety protocols:

- Follow safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.

- Report any safety concerns or incidents to the supervisor promptly.

5. Maintain cleanliness and organization:

- Keep work areas clean and organized.

- Properly dispose of waste and debris.

6. Collaborate with team members:

- Work effectively as part of a team to complete tasks and projects.

- Communicate with supervisors and co-workers to ensure efficient workflow.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in landscaping or related field preferred but not required.

- Physical stamina and ability to perform strenuous tasks in various weather conditions.

- Knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment.

- Basic understanding of horticulture and plant care.

- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.

- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
