As a Landscape Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper care and maintenance of landscapes, ensuring they remain healthy, attractive, and well-maintained. Your expertise in landscape maintenance techniques and practices will contribute to the overall success of our landscaping projects. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.



1. Perform Landscape Maintenance:

  • Conduct regular maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, and trimming lawns to maintain a neat and manicured appearance.
  • Prune and shape trees, shrubs, and hedges to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal.
  • Weed garden beds, remove debris, and apply mulch to control weeds and enhance plant health.

2. Implement Plant Health Care:

  • Identify and diagnose common plant diseases, pests, and nutrient deficiencies.
  • Apply appropriate treatments such as fertilizers, pesticides, and fungicides to maintain plant health.
  • Monitor irrigation systems and adjust watering schedules as needed.

3. Seasonal Planting and Care:

  • Assist in the installation of seasonal flowers, plants, and bulbs to enhance landscape aesthetics.
  • Prepare soil, plant, and provide proper care for seasonal plants to promote healthy growth and vibrant colors.
  • Oversee the winterization of landscapes, including proper mulching and protection of sensitive plants.

4. Maintain Landscaping Equipment:

  • Ensure landscaping tools and equipment are properly maintained, cleaned, and stored.
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment as needed.
  • Report any equipment issues or malfunctions to the supervisor.

5. Adhere to Safety Standards:

  • Follow safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.
  • Operate equipment safely and responsibly.
  • Identify potential safety hazards and report them to the supervisor.

6. Communicate and Collaborate:

  • Coordinate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, addressing their concerns and providing recommendations for landscape maintenance.


  • Previous experience in landscape maintenance or a related field.
  • Knowledge of landscape plants, horticulture, and proper maintenance techniques.
  • Familiarity with irrigation systems and their operation.
  • Understanding of plant diseases, pests, and nutrient requirements.
  • Ability to operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Physical stamina to perform strenuous tasks in various weather conditions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A valid driver's license may be required.


$17 - $23 per hour
