Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on, mechanically inclined Robot Refurbishment Technician to join our operations team. The ideal candidate should have experience working with mechanical equipment, automobiles, engines, or similar systems and be comfortable using hand tools and laptops. This role involves refurbishing autonomous mobile robots (AMR's), performing mechanical and electrical repairs, and ensuring robots meet quality standards before deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Refurbish autonomous mobile robots (AMR's) according to established work instructions.
  • Perform mechanical assembly, disassembly, inspection, and component replacement.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively.
  • Operate a laptop to run diagnostics, software updates, and testing procedures.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOP's) and quality requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Report defects, issues, and repair status accurately.

Required Qualifications

  • Hands on mechanical experience with automobiles, engines, industrial equipment, machinery, robotics or similar electromechanical systems.
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to use a laptop for diagnostics and documentation.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment as required.
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing, warehouse automation, robotics, or maintenance.
  • Familiarity with electrical or mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Previous experience refurbishing or repairing equipment is a plus.
  • Spanish - English Bilingual preferred.
