Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized Assistant Property Manager to join our team at a 144-unit apartment community. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative, leasing, and resident relations skills, along with prior property management experience.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain and oversee property management software, ensuring resident and property data is accurate and up to date.
  • Conduct annual unit inspections and maintain inspection records.
  • Manage resident financial accounts, accounts receivable, and payment tracking.
  • Process move-out charges and prepare final account statements.
  • Enter invoices, security deposit dispositions, and other financial transactions daily.
  • Follow up on delinquent accounts, collections, and former resident balances.
  • Assist with leasing activities, including marketing, showing apartments, and processing applications.
  • Maintain positive relationships with current residents and prospective residents.
  • Conduct property tours and respond to leasing inquiries.
  • Coordinate daily marketing efforts through online advertising platforms, including Craigslist and other outreach channels.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support property operations as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of property management experience.
  • Prior residential property management experience preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience with property management and accounting software preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus.
