As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Senior Community Manager to oversee a portfolio of three assets totaling 161 units in the South Phoenix / South Mountain submarket. This role is ideal for a high-performing operator who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is looking for a clear path toward portfolio-level leadership.


Position Overview

The Senior Community Manager is responsible for the overall performance, operations, and financial success of a 3-property portfolio. This role will lead onsite operations, drive leasing performance, oversee resident experience, and ensure asset-level financial goals are achieved.


This position requires a strategic thinker who can balance day-to-day operations with big-picture performance goals. The ideal candidate is highly organized, results-driven, and experienced in managing multiple assets simultaneously.


This role offers strong growth potential, with a clear path to transition into a Portfolio Manager position as the company continues to expand.


Key ResponsibilitiesProperty Operations & Performance

  • Oversee daily operations across three assets totaling 161 units
  • Ensure properties are operating efficiently and in alignment with company standards
  • Maintain strong occupancy levels and achieve leasing goals
  • Identify opportunities to improve NOI and overall asset performance
  • Conduct regular property walks to ensure curb appeal, cleanliness, and maintenance standards


Leasing & Marketing

  • Drive leasing performance through effective pricing, marketing, and conversion strategies
  • Collaborate with marketing and leadership teams on property positioning and campaigns
  • Monitor lead flow, conversion ratios, and leasing KPIs
  • Train and support onsite teams in leasing best practices


Financial Management

  • Manage property budgets, expenses, and financial performance
  • Review financial reports and identify opportunities for cost control and revenue growth
  • Ensure rent collections are timely and delinquency is minimized
  • Assist with forecasting and budget planning


Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, train, and develop onsite team members
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and performance-driven culture
  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance management
  • Ensure team alignment with company goals and expectations


Resident Experience & Retention

  • Oversee resident relations and ensure a high level of customer service
  • Resolve escalated resident concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Implement strategies to improve resident satisfaction and retention
  • Monitor online reputation and ensure timely responses to reviews


Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal housing regulations
  • Maintain accurate and complete property records and documentation
  • Oversee lease enforcement and policy adherence
  • Partner with leadership on risk mitigation and operational improvements


Qualifications, Education & Licensing

Active Arizona Real Estate License required or ability to obtain within the first 6 months of employment


Experience

  • 3+ years of property management experience
  • Experience managing multiple assets or a portfolio preferred
  • Strong understanding of leasing, operations, and financial performance

Salary

$70,000 - $80,000 per year
