Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented, part-time Leasing Associate to join our team at The Common Apartments in Phoenix. As a Leasing Associate, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our properties to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to leasing inquiries via phone, email, text, online leads, and walk-ins.
- Build genuine relationships with prospective residents and identify their needs, preferences, and priorities.
- Conduct personalized, high-quality property tours that showcase the community, amenities, residences, and lifestyle.
- Effectively communicate the property's value proposition, pricing, availability, amenities, services, and resident benefits.
- Use consultative sales techniques to identify objections, address concerns, and guide prospects toward a leasing decision.
- Close qualified prospects and convert tours and leads into applications and signed leases.
- Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects throughout the leasing process.
- Create a sense of urgency when appropriate without using high-pressure sales tactics.
- Follow up with prospects who have toured but have not yet applied or signed.
- Maintain accurate lead and prospect information in AppFolio and other designated systems.
- Meet or exceed established leasing, tour, follow-up, and conversion goals.
- Provide a warm, professional, and memorable first impression of the property.
- Deliver a level of service consistent with a luxury hospitality environment.
- Anticipate prospect needs and personalize each interaction.
- Maintain a polished, welcoming, and professional presence while representing the property.
- Ensure the leasing office, model units, amenities, and tour paths are consistently presentation-ready.
- Respond to questions and concerns with professionalism, patience, and a solutions-oriented attitude.
- Treat every prospect and resident with respect and professionalism regardless of their circumstances.
- Stay knowledgeable about competing properties and current market conditions.
- Assist with open houses, resident events, marketing events, and other leasing initiatives.
- Assist with maintaining curb appeal and ensuring the property is tour-ready.
- Report maintenance, safety, cleanliness, or curb-appeal concerns to the appropriate team member.
- Represent Quartr Living and the property in a manner consistent with company standards and Fair Housing requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Real Estate license preferred.
- Previous luxury apartment or Class A multifamily leasing experience preferred.
- Experience in property management, sales, or customer service preferred.
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AppFolio.
- Basic knowledge of real estate law and administrative procedures.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. Schedule for this role will be Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
- Understanding of Fair Housing Laws
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Compensation
Hourly compensation: $18.00-$22.00 Based on experience and qualifications.
Leasing incentives: Eligible for performance-based leasing bonuses in accordance with the property's compensation plan.
