Quantum STEM School is hiring a Preschool Lead Teacher for our hands-on, play-based school program. If you love helping young children grow through joyful learning experiences, we’d love to hear from you!

Schedule: Full-time, follows Snoqualmie Valley School District calendar

Monday- Friday 8:30AM-3:30PM

Start Date: Immediate or as soon as possible

Benefits: Eligible for full-time benefits if working 30+ hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a preschool classroom in alignment with Washington State Early Learning Standards
• Maintain active supervision and appropriate child-to-staff ratios at all times
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, hands-on learning experiences
• Ensure compliance with DCYF licensing requirements, health and safety regulations, and center procedures
• Communicate professionally and proactively with families and administrative staff
• Model best practices for other staff and support accountability across the team
• Participate in licensing visits, documentation, and required trainings

This role requires strong situational awareness, sound judgment, and the ability to proactively identify and address safety concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• MERIT approval (or ability to obtain promptly), including background check, CPR/First Aid, and required training hours
• Prior experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
• Strong understanding of DCYF licensing requirements and ratios
• Working knowledge of Washington State Early Learning & Development Guidelines
• Ability to maintain supervision, assess risk, and make sound decisions in real time
• Clear, professional communication with families and staff
