Job Title: Lead Floater – Janitorial

Job Type: 30-40 hours a week

Schedule: 7:00 PM – 3:00 AM (Swing/Mid Shift)

Location: Wauseon, OH and surrounding counties (Multiple Job Sites)

Job Summary

Quality Cleaning Service is looking for a dependable and experienced Lead Floater to support our overnight operations. This role is responsible for traveling between job sites, filling in for call-offs, assisting team members, and ensuring all locations meet our cleaning standards.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is flexible, detail-oriented, and takes pride in their work.

Responsibilities

• Fill in at job sites as needed to cover absences or staffing gaps
• Perform general cleaning duties including restrooms, offices, floors, and trash removal
• Maintain high cleaning standards across all assigned locations
• Assist with training new team members
• Conduct basic inspections and ensure quality control
• Communicate with management regarding issues or site needs
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including floor machines when needed

Qualifications

• Commercial cleaning experience preferred
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Floor care experience (scrubbing, buffing, stripping/waxing) is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required
• Ability to work at multiple locations during scheduled shift
