Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a behavioral based intervention/therapy applied to children with autism and other developmental delays that focuses on improving skills in specific domains of functioning, such as social skills, communication, play, learning skills, motor dexterity, hygiene, and grooming, and more.
Our Behavior Technicians (Child Development Instructors) are the front-line staff working directly with the children we serve under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. The Behavior Technician is responsible for running the child's treatment/lesson plan and teaching socially significant skills to improve the quality of life of the children we serve through the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Behavior Technicians will run sessions between 2 to 4 hours with a child at our amazing clinics which include conducive learning areas such as a sensory gym, sensory room, outdoor play yard, 1:1 rooms, constructive/pretend play areas, and circle time. Additional work environments may include child home or community environments. Behavior Technicians will have ongoing support from onsite supervisors assisting with curriculum, environmental management, and professional growth opportunities.
