Position Overview


Quantify Specialty Care is seeking independently licensed mental health counselors to provide high-quality remote services to adults via secure telehealth platforms. This contractor role offers schedule flexibility, competitive hourly pay, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact for clients across multiple states. We are especially interested in clinicians who hold Tennessee licensure and, ideally, additional licenses in other states.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual counseling sessions via secure video and/or phone.
  • Perform comprehensive biopsychosocial and mental health assessments.
  • Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide brief, solution-focused and longer-term therapy, as clinically indicated.
  • Offer crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning as needed.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation in the electronic record.
  • Coordinate care and communicate with other healthcare professionals when appropriate.
  • Maintain strict adherence to ethical guidelines, state practice acts, and telehealth regulations.
  • Stay up to date on evidence-based practices and continuing education requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted independent licensure as one of the following (or state equivalent):
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC, LPC-MHSP)
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Or comparable independently licensed mental health professional per state statute.
  • Must hold an active independent license in Tennessee; additional state licenses strongly preferred.
  • Eligible to practice independently (no supervision required) in each state where you are licensed.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of post-licensure clinical experience in outpatient mental health, community mental health, or similar setting.
  • Demonstrated skills in clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Strong communication, rapport-building, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage your own remote caseload, and maintain professional boundaries in a virtual environment.
  • Comfort and proficiency with telehealth platforms, EHR/EMR systems, and common productivity tools.
  • Reliable high-speed internet and a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Multiple active state licenses (e.g., TN plus additional compact or high-demand states).
  • Experience with telehealth service delivery.
  • Experience working with adults with complex medical or specialty care needs.
  • Prior work as an independent contractor (1099) in behavioral health.

Compensation

  • Hourly rate: 55–65 per clinical hour, based on licensure, experience, and state(s) of practice.
  • This is a 1099 independent contractor position; benefits are not provided by the organization.

Schedule

  • Flexible schedule, primarily weekday and early evening hours, with the option for some weekend availability based on client demand.
  • Minimum caseload or hours can be discussed during the interview process.
