Support the General Manager and/or Sales Manager in driving new membership sales by bringing new members to the studio, building genuine relationships, and guiding prospective members through the sales process. You'll also play a key role in retaining current members through exceptional customer service.

ROLE DETAILS

Location: Pure Barre Capitol Hill

Job Type: Part-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt

Hours: 10-20 hours per week; minimum 2 Sales Associate shifts per week, based on the studio’s need and availability

Schedule: Rotating schedule; weekend morning availability required

Reports To: VP of Sales & Marketing + Operations Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute the sales process, including lead generation, follow-up, and closing deals
  • Conduct facility tours, establish relationships, and understand individual goals and needs
  • Maintain a satisfactory level of personal sales production
  • Present available services to current or prospective members
  • Book quality appointments to achieve monthly sales quota
  • Participate in special events to promote the studio
  • Develop selling skills and take responsibility for personal growth
  • Process accurate cash and credit card transactions
  • Follow up and follow through with prospective clients and members
  • Perform light cleaning of the retail area, studio, and restrooms
  • Input inventory for retail clothing and other items
  • Take pictures for social media platforms
  • Other duties as assigned by Katie or management team


REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficient sales, communication, and customer service skills
  • Warm, welcoming, and engaging personality
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships
  • Goal-oriented with the ability to achieve sales in memberships, retail, and private training
  • Self-motivated and takes initiative
  • Ability to learn and use the ClubReady software system
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Team player capable of collaborative work with colleagues, management, and team members
  • Authorization to work in the United States required
