Senior Staff - Dog Walker

Pups On Passyunk is a quickly growing pet services business providing services in South Philly and Center City. Opportunities for growth for the right candidates interested in pet care and customer service!

This senior staff position will be an important member of our team, assisting with covering walks as needed. You should be comfortable visiting dogs you haven't met, and comfortable walking dogs of various sizes, temperaments, and behavior.

You will also assist with limited management duties, including assigned weekend shifts. Attention do detail with scheduling matters is essential. This role has the opportunity to develop into an assistant manager position for the right candidate.

Requirements:

• 5 or more years of direct dog handling experience. You are an expert at handling all varieties and temperaments of dogs. You're able to manage a large, rowdy shepherd, and you're equally at ease with a small, nippy chihuahua, as well as everything in between.
• Available Monday through Friday, every day, from 10:00 - 4:00. You need to commit to walks between these times. Additional hours are also be available for morning, evening, and weekend work.
• Available at least one weekend each month.
• Willing to work occasional Holidays.
• Willing to work with us for at least 9 months (this is not a temporary job).
• Ideally have experience with the management side of Time To Pet or other pet sitting software, and/or experience managing staff in a pet care business.
