Community Acupuncture Role in Silver Spring, MD

Pulse Community Care is a Chinese Medicine clinic rooted in depth, integrity, and whole-person healing. We are seeking a Licensed Acupuncturist with herbal training to join our team in downtown Silver Spring.

This role is focused on community-style acupuncture shifts, with the potential for private treatments. We’re especially interested in practitioners with at least 2 years of experience and a passion for Chinese herbal medicine — but all are welcome to apply.

Who You Are

- A Licensed Acupuncturist in Maryland with excellent cupping, moxa, and electro skills

- Trained and confident prescribing customized Chinese herbal formulas

- Comfortable treating patients every 15 minutes in a community-style setting

- Warm, grounded, dependable, and collaborative

- Excited to contribute to a team rooted in integrity, healing, and heart

Schedule Needs

- Tuesdays and Saturdays (community shifts)

- Wednesdays as temporary coverage during maternity leave (October–early 2026)

A couple private shifts may also be available in the near future

Compensation

This is an Independent Contractor role.

- 40% of revenue from community acupuncture shifts

- 10% commissions on product sales (herbs, topicals, supplements)

- Year-end bonus

- bonuses for:

 - Teaching workshops or community classes

 - Supporting with marketing or outreach

 - Training new team members

Clinic Support Provided

- Front desk staff to manage scheduling, billing, and patient flow

- All treatment supplies provided

- In-house herbal dispensary

- Supportive onboarding and training
