The Marketing Coordinator is an entry-level, hands-on role supporting a wide range of marketing initiatives across content, digital marketing, campaigns, communications, and marketing technology. Working under the direction of the Growth team, this role helps bring marketing and business growth efforts to life by creating and managing content, supporting digital campaigns, leveraging AI and automation tools, and using data and technology to streamline workflows and improve marketing performance.

We equip civilians, employers, and communities with the tools and understanding needed to effectively engage with and support military-connected individuals and families. Our work spans free online courses, in-person training, and community programs delivered in partnership with organizations and industry across the country.

Description

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

  • Produce and format newsletters, social media content, blog and podcast promotions, and other marketing materials.
  • Create graphics and marketing materials using Canva, Adobe, or similar tools.
  • Develop partner and co-branded materials and support PR/media content as assigned.
  • Write and edit clear, engaging content that reflects PsychArmor’s brand and audience.
  • Turn Growth team direction into ready-to-publish content and marketing materials.

Marketing Execution

  • Follow Growth team priorities and execute assigned marketing initiatives from start to finish.
  • Schedule and publish social media and email marketing content.
  • Make routine website content updates, including event pages, blogs, and other marketing content.
  • Support digital campaigns, email campaigns, and other promotional activities.
  • Maintain assigned CRM updates, lists, tags, and basic audience information.
  • Track basic campaign, email, social, and content performance and report results back to the team.

AI-Enabled Marketing

  • Build and maintain reusable AI workflows, prompt libraries, and brand voice guides for consistent content.
  • Repurpose one core asset (course, podcast, webinar) into clips, captions, social posts, email copy, and blog summaries.
  • Set up and monitor AI-assisted automations for scheduling, CRM updates, and reporting, flagging errors for human review, and document AI-enabled processes as simple SOPs the team can repeat.
  • Follow PsychArmor's AI use guidelines, never entering personal, partner, or learner data into unapproved tools, and fact-check AI content for accuracy, tone, copyright, stereotypes, accessibility, and cultural competence with military and Veteran audiences, sending clinical or sensitive mental health content to subject matter experts.
  • Update web content (FAQs, structured content, consistent course descriptions) for AI search visibility, and periodically check how AI tools describe PsychArmor.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage diverse audiences, respond to inquiries, and represent PsychArmor’s mission effectively.
  • Experience with Market Research to analyze audience segments, measure campaign performance, and inform data-driven marketing decisions.
  • Knowledge of Marketing Strategy and Sales to plan campaigns, support partner outreach, and contribute to program enrollment and engagement goals.
  • Demonstrated hands-on use of generative AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Canva AI, or Adobe Firefly), with a portfolio or examples of AI-assisted work preferred.
  • Background in Marketing or related fields, with familiarity in digital marketing tools (e.g., email platforms, social media, analytics).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
