Process and Test Engineer developing next-generation RF chipsets


PseudolithIC, Inc. is an exciting technology start-up developing semiconductor solutions for commercial RF and mm-wave systems. PseudolithIC is located on the UC Santa Barbara campus, as part of the UCSB CNSI Technology Incubator program, giving our employees access to state-of-the-art facility.


If you want to learn and contribute towards the next generation of RF microelectronic chips, join our team. We have several openings for process and test engineers.


You will be part of a team supporting the development of next-generation RF chipsets under the general supervision of the company’s CTO. This will include, but not limited to:

1)     Perform process steps in a cleanroom environment

2)     Document process results

3)     Track metrics related to process control

4)     Electrical testing

5)     Root cause failure analysis

Experience desired but not required:

-Cleanroom experience (lithography, microscope inspection, etching, deposition)

-Electrical testing (probe station)

-Education in electrical engineering (or related – mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, …)


-Ability to work independently

-Likes to learn new things

-Attention to details

-Good presentation / communication

-Problem solver

Physical Demands:

-Must be able to work in a cleanroom and testing environment.

-Must be able to work safely with and around potentially toxic and hazardous materials, chemicals and gases.

-Good hand eye coordination


- BS degree or equivalent professional experience

- US citizenship or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)

- The position is located on the UCSB campus.
