Description

Day to Day Operations 

Project Leaders will conduct the following tasks for projects: 

  • Client Communication: Regularly interact with clients to understand their needs, provide updates, and manage expectations. This includes meetings, emails, and reports. 
  • Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate the consulting team, assigning tasks, setting deadlines, and ensuring everyone is aligned with project goals. 
  • Project Planning: Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Adjust plans as needed based on project progress and client feedback. 
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks to the project and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor risks throughout the project lifecycle. 
  • Resource Management: Ensure the project has the necessary resources, including personnel, tools, and budget. Manage resource allocation efficiently. 
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality of deliverables, ensuring they meet client standards and project requirements. Conduct regular reviews and implement improvements. 
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and coordination final deliverables with project team. Provide regular status updates to stakeholders. 
  • Problem Solving: Address any issues or challenges that arise during the project, finding effective solutions to keep the project on track. 
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with all stakeholders, including clients, team members, and third-party vendors, to ensure smooth project execution and alignment. 
  • Continuous Improvement: Evaluate project performance and identify areas for improvement. Implement best practices and lessons learned in future projects.

 

Strategic Initiatives 

  • Assessments of existing PS Hummingbird toolsets will be needed as we continue to grow as a business.   The Project Leaders will be involved to assist in determining if future enhancements or new tools are needed for higher quality execution.   
  • PLs will collaborate with team members across sales and delivery practices to drive progress and outcomes related to improvements and lessons learned on projects.   
  • PLs will be able to provide input into SOW content prior to its final approval to ensure realistic expectations based on historical trends.

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related disciplines) 
  • 7-10 years’ experience in Consulting implementations of enterprise business applications or systems and implementations with a depth of intangible lessons learned and a network of relationships. 
  • 5+ years’ experience in Project Management preferred in the Professional Services Consulting space 
  • PMP, CAPM, or CSM Certifications are a plus. 

 

Salary

$130,000 - $150,000 per year
