Retail Tax Preparation and Loans Store Associate 

This position provides services in a retail office of tax, bookkeeping and loan operations in Mississippi. Located in Oxford, MS. 

Duties of the position: 

·       Process loans for guests in accordance with the loan program in place. 

·       Prepare income tax returns in accordance with IRS and state regulations. 

·       Participate in ongoing training in loan process and income tax preparation. 

·       Ensure compliance with laws and regulations as well as program expectations of company agreements. 

·       Participate in store marketing and business development through community outreach, social media, guerilla marketing efforts and phone calls to potential guests. 

·       Work in a team environment to contribute to the success of the store. 

·       Maintain current knowledge in tax preparation, loan processing and other areas of business services. 

Requirements: 

·       Willingness to obtain knowledge and training in loan processing and income tax preparation. 

·       Finance or accounting training/education preferred. 

·       Work experience in a team setting where your role is dependent upon the success of others and where others success is dependent upon your performance. 

Schedule: 

·       Work hours for this position are flexible and scheduled based upon the needs of the store. However, during spring tax season additional hours will be required. 10-20hrs a week. 

Compensation and benefits: 

·       Pay is commensurate with skills and experience. 

·       $10-$13$hourly rate
