Location: Alabama (Remote / Telehealth)/Hybrid model available

Job Type: Full-Time | Part-Time | Contract (1099)

Pay rate is based upon each completes therapy session caseload and structure

Job Summary:

Protect Each One Consulting LLC is hiring a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Alabama to provide high-quality, trauma-informed mental health therapy services via telehealth and/or hybrid settings.

We are seeking a licensed mental health therapist who is passionate about evidence-based care, ethical practice, and serving adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, burnout, and life transitions.

This position is ideal for an experienced Alabama LICSW seeking flexibility, autonomy, and strong clinical support within a growing behavioral health group practice.


Responsibilities – Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)

  • Provide individual psychotherapy to adults (optional couples/family therapy)
  • Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations
  • Develop and implement treatment plans
  • Provide trauma-informed therapy using evidence-based modalities (CBT, DBT, EMDR-informed, etc.)
  • Maintain timely clinical documentation in EHR
  • Comply with Alabama Board of Social Work regulations and all state and federal laws
  • Maintain client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
  • Participate in peer consultation (optional but encouraged)


Required Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted Alabama Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license
  • Master’s degree in social work (MSW) from accredited program
  • Eligible to practice independently in Alabama
  • 2+ years post-licensure experience preferred
  • Experience treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders
  • Ability to work independently and manage caseload
  • Strong clinical documentation skills
  • Professional liability insurance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Trauma certification or advanced trauma training
  • Experience with military, first responders, or high-performing professionals
  • EMDR, TF-CBT, or DBT training
  • Interest in workplace mental health or burnout prevention
  • Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply

Salary

$35 - $50 per hour
