We offer summer and after-school programs in partnership with local schools, school districts, nonprofit organizations, and STEM Companies. To date, we have provided nearly 116,000 STEAM education experiences, impacting over 24,000 girls from communities across the United States and Mexico. The Role:
At Project Scientist, we aim to ignite and cultivate STEM confidence in ALL girls. We want teachers who are looking to enhance their skills in culturally responsive pedagogy and with a sincere commitment to racial and gender equity in STEAM Education to teach our programs at local schools or community organizations. Our program is an opportunity for teachers to positively impact students by teaching them engaging STEAM content. Our STEAM Club is an afterschool program for 4-12 yr olds that runs for about 90 min per week for 3 months in the fall and 3 months in the spring. We are currently looking for an in person educator to run our after-school STEAM Club program at multiple locations in the Charlotte area.
