We're looking to hire a Controller who has been in public accounting (tax/ audit/outsourced accounting) and who is looking to manage and grow an accounting team. In this role, you will be working directly with the leadership team, our CFOs, and outside tax and legal counsel to help develop and execute the client's accounting strategies, manage the onboarding process, provide technical accounting expertise and guide and mentor a team.

We’re growing fast and that means you will have to manage a team to onboard and get clients to steady-state accounting as quickly and efficiently as possible.

You can handle curve balls and not get derailed. The crypto industry is constantly evolving. That means new products, new regulations, new clients– every single day. You need to be able quickly identify issues, come up with solutions, or be able to handle the changes that are given to you.

You love learning from your fellow teammates, you read books, and sign up for random webinars on things that interest you (whether professionally or personally.) You know that everyone comes to the table with a unique talent and ability and you respect that.
You are ambitious yet humble, in a spunky sort of way. You are always looking for ways to improve your work, to make it faster, more accurate and more timely. You are eager to share your learnings with the team.
You have no problem rolling up your sleeves and helping out where needed. That means pitching in to work through complex accounting issues, and solving for world peace, depending on the day.
You are unfazed by digital shoeboxes, spreadsheets and messy books that clients present to us at signing. You can clearly lay out a plan and can manage a team from cleanup and onboarding to steady state in the most efficient way.

Salary is determined based on requisite skills and experience in crypto accounting.
The anticipated salary range for this role is between $115,000 and $150,000, actual starting pay may vary based on a range of factors which can include experience, skills, and scope. This role is eligible to participate in various discretionary bonus programs as well as benefit plans including health, dental, vision, 401K plan, vacation, and sick leave. #L
