Primavera Coffee Roasters is an up-and-coming micro-roastery and café in Cranston, Rhode Island, bringing authentic Central American flavors, culture, and hospitality to Little Rhody. Founded by Luis and Melissa, Primavera was built on a shared passion for Guatemalan specialty coffee, traditional treats like fresh-baked pan dulce and Tres Leches, and meaningful community connection. Centered on café, cultura, y comunidad, our in-house micro-roastery carefully selects and roasts distinct origin coffees to deliver exceptional handcrafted beverages alongside recipes inspired by rich regional culinary traditions. As a member of our team, you’ll play a foundational role in shaping our shop’s culture, delivering authentic hospitality, and sharing Central American coffee traditions with our community in a supportive, team-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service & Register: Take customer orders accurately, operate the POS/cashier system, and deliver warm, friendly service.
• Dining Room Care: Buss and sanitize tables, empty trash/recycling, and restock guest stations (sugar, cups, napkins, utensils).
• Back of House Support: Assist with dishwashing, basic food prep, restocking pantry shelves, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
• General Maintenance: Help maintain high standards of safety, hygiene, and organization across all café areas.

Qualifications

• Friendly, upbeat attitude with a strong focus on hospitality and customer service.
• Adaptable and eager to switch tasks quickly between front and back of house.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-first mindset.
• Prior café, restaurant, or retail experience is a plus, but not required.
