We are currently looking for an Alarm Technician to join our growing team and serve our current and future customers.
Description
Preventia is a locally owned and operated alarm and low voltage company offering excellent service in the industry. We install and service residential and commercial alarms, camera systems, life safety (fire) systems, automation, low voltage and audio video solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Alarm Technician to join our growing team and serve our current and future customers.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualities;
- Security Alarm, CCTV, Door Access & Fire Experience preferred, but will train
- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to pass background and drug test
As a technician, you will be responsible for;
- Providing on site maintenance for residential and commercial burglar systems
- Hardwired/Wireless alarm, CCTV, Fire System and Access Control installation & service
- Working independently with minimal supervision
- Communicate with existing customers to find new opportunities or needs
- Demonstrate Preventia products and services to customers
- Keep accurate records for inventory and time
- Troubleshoot technical problems
- Good driving record, valid driver’s license
