Join our dynamic retail team as a Retail Sales Associate and become the friendly face that helps customers find the perfect products for their outdoor spaces and home gardens! In this energetic role, you will engage with customers, provide expert advice on gardening, landscaping, and plant care, and ensure an exceptional shopping experience. Whether assisting with lawn care tips or guiding customers through floral arrangements, your enthusiasm and knowledge will inspire our clients to create beautiful, thriving outdoor environments. Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and identify their needs related to gardening, landscaping, or outdoor maintenance
• Provide expert advice on plant identification, horticulture techniques, lawn care, and landscape maintenance
• Assist customers with product selection, including tools, plants, floral design supplies, and outdoor equipment
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cashiering and cash handling transactions
• Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves with seasonal plants and gardening supplies
• Support store organization through stocking, inventory management, and ensuring products are well-presented
• Offer excellent customer service via phone communication and in-person interactions to answer questions and provide guidance
• Apply knowledge of outdoor work experience to advise on landscaping projects or gardening techniques
• Help with floral design arrangements when needed, showcasing creativity and attention to detail
• Identify plants accurately to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions

Requirements

• Passion for gardening, horticulture, landscaping, or outdoor work experience is highly valued
• Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
• Previous retail sales experience preferred; familiarity with POS systems and cash handling is beneficial
• Knowledge of plant identification, floral design, lawn care, landscape maintenance, and merchandising techniques
• Excellent organizational skills to manage stock levels and maintain attractive displays
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while providing outstanding customer service
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Good phone communication skills for assisting customers remotely or scheduling appointments
