Premier Wellness Medical Practice is a physician-owned, concierge-style practice providing primary care, men's health, medical weight management, aesthetics, and office-based procedures including vasectomy. We are committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care while creating an exceptional patient experience.
We are seeking a dependable, motivated Certified Medical Assistant who enjoys both patient care and learning new clinical skills. This position offers the opportunity to work closely alongside a board-certified physician in a supportive, teaching-focused environment in both front office and back office.
As our practice grows, there may be opportunities for increased hours and additional responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Clinical
- Room patients and obtain vital signs
- Review medications, allergies, and medical history
- Perform EKGs, point-of-care testing, injections, phlebotomy, and specimen collection (as trained)
- Assist with vasectomy procedures and other office-based procedures
- Prepare procedure rooms and maintain sterile technique
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments
- Run weekly biological test for autoclaves
- Stock exam rooms and monitor inventory
- Assist with laboratory processing and specimen handling
- Provide patient education and discharge instructions
Administrative
- Answer phones professionally
- Schedule appointments
- Verify insurance eligibility
- Process patient paperwork
- Document accurately within the electronic medical record
- Respond to patient messages as directed
- Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
General Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment
- Demonstrate professionalism with every patient interaction
- Work independently while anticipating physician needs
- Participate in ongoing education and competency training
- Support practice growth through excellent customer service
Qualifications
Required
- Active Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), CMA, or RMA certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable transportation
- Strong organizational skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
Preferred
- Experience assisting with office procedures
- Phlebotomy experience
- EKG experience
- Experience in primary care, family medicine, urology, OB/GYN, or surgery
- Interest in procedural medicine or surgical technology
- English and Spanish speaking (fluent, native)
