Clinical Scope & Opportunities
Comprehensive Pulmonary & Sleep Practice
- Manage full-spectrum pulmonary disease:
- ILD, COPD, asthma, pulmonary hypertension, complex airway disease
- Sleep medicine integration
- Longitudinal and consultative care
Cutting-Edge Interventional Pulmonology
Opportunity to perform (or build toward):
- ION robotic bronchoscopy
- EBUS (radial & linear)
- Cryotherapy & cryospray
- Tumor debulking
- Airway stent placement
- Zephyr valve procedures
Advanced Pulmonary Medicine Capabilities with dedicated support from biologics and specialty medicine coordinators
- Manage Pulmonary Hypertension (PAH) programs
- Work with Right Heart Catheterization (RHC) pathways
- Build expertise in ILD management and specialty programs
- Build airway disease diagnosis and management
- Bronchiectasis diagnosis and management
- Pulmonary infections including NTM diagnosis and management
- FeNO and Body plethysmography equipment's in house
Advanced Sleep Medicine Capabilities
- Manage Obstructive and Central sleep apnea
- Manage Inspire and Remede patients
- Diagnose and manage Type I and Type II Narcolepsy with support of dedicated specialty coordinator
- Capability to do in lab polysomnography in nearby hospital
- Capability to do in house home sleep study
Next-Generation COPD & Asthma Care
- Prescribe and administer biologics in-office
- Option for home biologic therapy pathways
- Advanced disease management protocols
- Offer Zephyr valves for those who have failed medical therapy
Clinical Research Opportunities
- Participate in ongoing and future phase II and III pulmonary clinical research trials
- Opportunity to serve as investigator or sub-investigator
- Exposure to industry-sponsored trials and emerging therapies
- Ability to build niche research interests (ILD, PAH, COPD, biologics, devices)
- Supportive infrastructure for research participation and growth

Ideal Candidate
- Board Certified / Eligible in Pulmonary Medicine (Sleep and/or Critical Care a plus)

Qualifications
- MD or DO with an active Texas medical license (or eligibility)
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pulmonary Medicine
- Sleep Medicine experience is a plus, but not required
- Physician must be comfortable treating sleep medicine patients
- Interest in interventional pulmonology welcomed but not required
