Employment Type: Full-Time Monday -Thursday 8am to 5pm


Position: Outpatient Pulmonologist


Current staff physicians: 5 board certified Pulmonary Critical care physicians

Current staff Nurse practitioners: 2 full time NPs and 2 part time NPs



About Us: At Premier Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep Medicine, we are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in a compassionate and patient-centered environment. We provide in-patient pulmonary medicine consult services to local hospital, Texoma Medical center.


We see patients with simple and advanced pulmonary disorders including asthma, COPD, Pulmonary hypertension evaluation and treatment, Alpha 1 AT deficiency evaluation and treatment, ILD evaluation and treatment, Zephyr valve evaluation and placement, Sleep apnea eval and treatment, Inspire and Remede eval and treatment, Narcolepsy evaluation and treatment among many others.


Our physicians perform advanced pulmonary procedures at the hospital including EBUS, ION robotic assisted bronchoscopy, airway stenting, bronchial thermoplasty, Zephyr endobronchial valves, PleurX catheter placement, right heart catheterization and bedside tracheostomy services. We perform Home Sleep studies in office and send our patients to local accredited sleep labs.


We have capability to perform full pulmonary function testing by utilizing MGC Plethysmography PFT machine, six-minute walk tests, Biologics and immunotherapy for our asthmatics and COPD patients.


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Outpatient Pulmonologist to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a collaborative practice in a dynamic healthcare setting.


Position Overview: As an Outpatient Pulmonologist, you will play a key role in diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with various pulmonary conditions in an outpatient setting. This role focuses on providing high-quality care while maintaining a work-life balance. You will work with a supportive team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, respiratory therapists, and other specialists, to ensure optimal care for each patient.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide comprehensive care for patients with pulmonary diseases, including asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, and pulmonary hypertension.
  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including history taking, physical exams, and diagnostic testing.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapies.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and follow-up.
  • Educate patients and families about pulmonary diseases, treatment options, and self-management strategies.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in pulmonology and integrate evidence-based practices into patient care.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance the quality of care delivered.

Qualifications:


  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Medicine.
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license in TX
  • Oklahoma state license is desired but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
