Premier Pulmonary and Sleep, a well‑established and rapidly growing specialty practice in Plano, Texas, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine Physician to join our supportive, forward‑thinking team. Comprehensive & Sophisticated Pulmonary Care
Our physicians provide full‑spectrum pulmonary care, managing both routine and complex cases, including:
- Pulmonary hypertension
- Interstitial lung disease (ILD)
- COPD
- Asthma
- Complex pulmonary diagnostics and longitudinal disease management
We maintain excellent working relationships with leading tertiary and transplant centers in the region. While we do not perform lung transplants, our practice offers nearly everything short of transplant, allowing physicians to practice at a highly advanced clinical level while remaining in an outpatient-focused environment.
Clinical Research Opportunities
Premier Pulmonary and Sleep is actively engaged in clinical research, offering physicians the opportunity to participate in on‑site randomized controlled trials (RCTs) across multiple pulmonary disease states, including:
- COPD
- Asthma
- Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF)
- Pulmonary Hypertension
Research participation is available but not required, making this an excellent opportunity for physicians interested in blending clinical excellence with academic and research involvement.
Advanced Technology & Procedures
Our practice is equipped with state‑of‑the‑art diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities, including:
- ION™ robotic bronchoscopy
- Endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS)
- Zephyr® endobronchial valves
- Argon plasma coagulation (APC)
- Cryotherapy
- Onsite plethysmography
- Skin allergy testing, immunotherapy, and biologic therapies for asthma and COPD
- Home sleep study equipment available onsite
For physicians interested in procedural work, interventional pulmonary procedures may be performed at a state‑of‑the‑art hospital facility located adjacent to the office.
Position Details
- Schedule: Full-time, outpatient only
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Call: None
- Setting: Office-based clinic every week
Qualifications
- MD or DO with an active Texas medical license (or eligibility)
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pulmonary Medicine
- Sleep Medicine experience is a plus, but not required
- Physician must be comfortable treating sleep medicine patients
- Interest in interventional pulmonology welcomed but not required
