Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant and Scribe to join our pulmonary and sleep medicine team. This role will involve both clinical assistance and administrative support, including documenting patient encounters, preparing exam rooms, and assisting with patient care. The ideal candidate will have excellent multitasking skills, medical knowledge, and a passion for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a scribe during patient consultations, accurately documenting patient history, assessments, and treatment plans.
• Prepare exam rooms and ensure
• Get vitals
• Inject biologics sub Q or inject steroids and Abx IM
• Work on CMN and DME paperwork
• Get CPAP compliance data
• Get records from other hospital systems when needed
• Help facilitate patient care
• Improve office flow
• Be a team player
• Work on medication authorizations
• Perform spirometry/PFT/Six minute walk test
• Perform Skin allergy test
• Be punctual to work and able to multitask
