Job Title: Part-Time Medical Office Assistant

Location: Denison, TX

Company: Premier Pulmonary and Sleep


Schedule:


Monday and Tuesday Denison office 8am to 5pm

OR

Monday to Thursday 9am to 3pm Denison office


Weekday shifts only; No weekends or holidays required


If you are unable to work Monday and Tuesday 8am to 5pm please do not apply.

Prior experience in allergy office or pulmonary office is preferred.



Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Medical Office Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will assist with patient rooming, vital signs collection, and general clinical and administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations in our pulmonary and sleep medicine practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and room patients in a timely and professional manner
  • Measure and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and oxygen saturation
  • Prepare exam rooms and ensure cleanliness and readiness for patient visits
  • Assist providers with basic clinical tasks as needed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the EMR system
  • Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff
  • Support front desk operations when needed (e.g., scheduling, answering phones)

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a medical office or clinical setting preferred
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • CPR certification preferred
  • Bilingual with Spanish and English fluency preferred
