Full job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for submitting medical claims to insurance companies and payers through e clinical work EMR (ECW) , ensuring accurate and timely reimbursement for services provided. **Duties:** - Review and verify accuracy of billing data and revise any errors - Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies - Follow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframe - Investigate and appeal denied claims - Post payments to patient accounts - Monitor delinquent accounts and coordinate collection efforts **Requirements:** - Proficiency in medical terminology, coding, DRG, ICD-10, and ICD-9 - Experience with medical office procedures, medical records, coding systems, and medical collections - TriZetto clearing house experience , insurance verification and credentialing experience.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry - Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare setting where your skills will be utilized to ensure proper billing procedures are followed for optimal reimbursement.
