Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical Installations: Perform installations of electrical systems, including wiring, circuit breakers, transformers, and other components, in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Maintenance and Repairs: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring all work complies with safety standards and regulations.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate and precise installation of electrical systems.
• Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all local, state, and federal electrical codes and safety protocols. Conduct regular safety checks and ensure that all tools and equipment are in proper working condition.
• Testing and Inspection: Perform electrical testing and inspections to identify potential issues or ensure the proper functioning of electrical systems.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear explanations of electrical issues and solutions. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project. Complete necessary paperwork and reports.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other electricians, apprentices, and project managers to complete projects on time and within budget. Provide guidance and support to junior team members as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrician apprenticeship program is preferred.
• Licensing: Valid California state electrician license required.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a field electrician in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and electrical code requirements. Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including confined spaces, heights, and outdoor settings. Must be able to lift heavy equipment and materials.
• Driving: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
