We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Case Manager to join our practice. This role supports a dynamic environment where we care for personal injury patients during the legal proceedings. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a fast-paced work environment, experienced in managing personal injury cases, and have the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Candidates with prior experience in a personal injury legal setting or similar experience will have priority consideration. Spanish speaking is a plus.

Description

Responsibilities

·        Efficient and timely coordination of patient care with providers and referrers

·        Maintain accurate and timely clinical record compliance

·        Audits medical records regularly for document tracking purposes

·        Communicate and follows up on discrepancies for any direct liens or funding companies 

·        Accurate and timely filing, scanning, and organization of documentation

·        Professional, prompt, and courteous communication with providers, referrers, patients, and staff

·        Effective communication, organization, and multitasking skills and ability to understand comprehensive claims, HCFA billing forms, treatment planning and other tracking 

·        Knowledge of comprehensive medical records processing, EHR systems and other office software

·        Ability to organize, scan, and attach files to patient records

·        Ability to learn and operate computer systems; MS office, outlook, word, excel, as well as third party portals and treatment tracking system, etc. 

·        Ability to relate to the public and respect confidentiality of information

·        Additional administrative duties as necessary

Required Skills and Qualifications

·        Preferred Bachelor's degree - Nursing, Social Work, Case Management or Health Administration 

·        High School Diploma or GED required

·        3+ years comprehensive patient care coordinating experience, preferably case management human services, possess and demonstrate commitment to quality patient care and treatment services

·        Organizational skills and the flexibility to jump to varying priorities

·        Experience with Microsoft office products and EHRs

·        Spanish speaking preferred 

Salary

$19 - $25 per hour
