Positive Regard Therapy (PRT) is a queer-owned boutique group therapy practice dedicated to helping adults cope with life’s toughest transitions and challenges. Based in Chicago, we partner with our clients through our therapy services to help them navigate issues such as break-ups/divorce, anxiety/stress, grief & loss, depression, trauma, relational discord, non-monogamy, identity exploration, and more.
PRT was founded in 2019 by Bert Fox, LCPC who wanted to provide a boutique therapy practice focused on working with LGBTQ+ clients to help them grow, change, and thrive. We currently have 7 clinicians and 3 interns on our Clinical Team, as well a Client Support Manager to support the day-to-day operations of the practice. As a practice, we maintain a warm and inviting culture that embodies learning, growth, support, and unconditional positive regard for everyone on the team.
