The purpose of Positive Attitudes Working is to offer childcare services and educational programs and to help maintain family life by providing quality care for children while parents are working or attending school. As we bridge the gap from home to developmental center, we guide the children to a “Positive” self-image while building social skills in a group setting. We treat each child as an individual, working from the level each child has attained and moving forward one step at a time.

Planning, supervising, and implementing the program for the class in accordance with the policies and philosophy of Positive Attitudes Working and with the Licensing Standards as imposed by the Department of Children and Family Services, the Office of Head Start and meeting the ITERS requirements in order to maintain the center’s ExceleRate requirements.

Preparing lesson plans with Teaching Strategies that each lesson plan will be directly related to the specific needs of the children in the class as documented in their developmental milestone forms and is aligned with IELGS.
