JOB SUMMARY

We're looking for a results-driven Social Media Manager and Content Creator with a passion for luxury aesthetics. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in developing and executing impactful social media strategies with the goal of driving sales and growth across all platforms. This role requires exceptional creativity, attention to detail, and a keen understanding of influencer marketing and partnerships to elevate our brand's presence across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGY & MANAGEMENT

  • Develop and implement growth-focused social media strategies aligning with brand voice and aesthetic.
  • Plan content calendars months in advance.
  • Post daily on Instagram (feed posts and stories), weekly on Tik Tok, and manage a strategic posting schedule for other platforms.
  • Actively engage with the audience and social media community, connecting with potential followers and driving engagement with a quick turnaround time.
  • Create and present monthly reports to management on KPIs across channels 
  • Accountability over all social channels by implementing strategies that grow our following and audience, ultimately driving online sales and in-store traffic

CONTENT CREATION

  • Organize and strategically post content creating your own compelling photography + video content.  
  • Create Reels and TikTok videos inspired by current trends, best practices, and brand storytelling.

INFLUENCER MARKETING & PARTNERSHIPS

  • Develop an Influencer Partnership strategy, scouting and managing on-brand influencers, UGC creators, and brand partnerships each with different targeted growth goals.
  • Engage the local community and build partnerships to drive in-store + online traffic.

MARKETING + PRODUCTION COLLABORATION

  • Work closely with marketing to strategize campaigns and align content with relevant initiatives like email campaigns, launches, and promotions.
  • Coordinate with inventory management to ensure featured pieces are in stock.

BRAND DEVELOPMENT & ENGAGEMENT

  • Foster strong engagement by prompting discussions, reposting, and participating in comment threads.
  • Maintain CRM and provide timely, exceptional customer service across all platforms.
  • Dedicate at least 30 minutes daily to liking, commenting, and following relevant Instagram accounts.
  • Maintain visual and quality standards aligned with our luxury jewelry brand.


VALUE + SKILL SET

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in social media strategy, content creation, and influencer partnership management.
  • Proven ability to leverage platforms like TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Pinterest to increase sales and growing organic following.
  • Strong aesthetic sense in line with Porter Lyons ethos.
  • Excellent photography, videography, and editing skills (Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Exceptional time management, reliability, and attention to detail.
  • Positive, personable attitude with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Passion for working in the jewelry industry and a startup environment.
  • Paid media execution and ad creation experience is a plus.
  • Press release creation and outreach management experience is a plus.
