2. Position Overview

You are here to build the habits every strong field technician needs. Your job is to learn safe work habits, protect the jobsite, follow direction well, and become reliable in the basics so the crew can trust you and build on you.

3. Success Profile and Targets

  • Show up on time and ready to work
  • Wear required PPE and follow safety standards every day
  • Protect the jobsite, customer property, and crew equipment
  • Learn tools, materials, and basic workflow expectations
  • Complete assigned low-risk support work with consistency
  • Stay on track with assigned training and mentor check-ins
  • Respond quickly to Team Lead direction and crew communication

4. Key Responsibilities

Safety and awareness

  • Wear PPE correctly and consistently
  • Identify hazards and stop work to ask when unsure
  • Protect gates, driveways, windows, pets, vehicles, irrigation heads, and other jobsite risks

Crew support and field basics

  • Own clean load-out, unload, and cleanup habits
  • Handle basic support tasks under direct supervision
  • Learn tool ID, safe handling, storage, and care
  • Maintain jobsite organization throughout the workday

Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly expectations

  • Daily: Arrive ready, participate in morning huddle, follow route review, complete truck checks, clock into jobs in LMN Crew, maintain safe habits, and complete end-of-day closeout
  • Weekly: Complete mentor check-in and show growth in core habits
  • Monthly: Show stronger consistency in jobsite care, pace, and coachability
  • Quarterly: Complete assessment for readiness to progress

Seasonal expectations

  • During the fall, shift from normal growth-cycle maintenance into seasonal leaf cleanup work as assigned

Communication norms

  • Ask early when unsure
  • Respond quickly to Team Lead direction and callbacks
  • Report damage, safety concerns, and confusion immediately
  • Use phone and LMN Crew app to clock into jobs as required

  • You are on time, prepared, and safe
  • You protect the site without needing reminders
  • You keep tools and materials organized
  • You follow through on assigned support work
  • Your Team Lead trusts your attitude and consistency

5. Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Entry-level role
  • Able to work outdoors in changing weather
  • Able to handle physical field work safely
  • Willing to take coaching and repeat tasks until standard is met
  • Strong reliability, attention, and respect for customer property
  • Able to use a phone for work-related job clock-ins
  • Valid state-issued driver’s license required
  • Only approved drivers may operate work vehicles


You are expected to reflect Poroscape’s standards for punctuality, responsibility, honesty, and attention to detail. That means safety first, reliable follow-through, respect for customer property, quality work, environmental stewardship, and steady growth through coaching and repetition.


Your performance is reviewed through daily coaching, a weekly 10-minute mentor check-in, and a quarterly assessment. The scorecard focuses on safety, reliability, communication, jobsite care, and training follow-through.


We offer performance based pay, paid time off, paid holidays, customer referral bonuses, customer review bonuses, team member referral bonuses, new hire bonuses, and more.
