Pooptopia Canine Clean-Up Specialist Kenosha, WI · Part time Company website

At Pooptopia, our mission is simple: give families back their yards, free of pet waste, so everyone can enjoy a safe, healthy outdoor space. We believe that a dog-friendly yard should be clean and welcoming—not just for the pups, but for the whole household. Join us in making a difference in the lives of pets and their owners!

About Pooptopia

At Pooptopia, we pride ourselves on offering a yard care experience unlike any other. Our two-person team ensures every inch of your lawn is meticulously covered, employing a precise perpendicular grid pattern to leave no pile behind. From the very start, we focus on personalized care, beginning with an in-person estimate to assess your yard’s unique needs. You’ll receive weekly reminders to keep you informed, along with real-time communication when we arrive and depart from your property. After each visit, we provide updates and photos, including confirmation that your gate is securely latched if you have one, so you can have complete peace of mind. Beyond waste removal, we even take care of your dog’s toys, leaving their playground spotless and ready for play. As an added layer of care, we act as the eyes for your dog’s health, notifying you immediately if we notice anything abnormal in their waste that may require attention.

Description

About the Role

As a Canine Cleanup Specialist, you’ll work alongside a teammate to ensure that our clients’ yards remain clean and hazard-free. Each day, you’ll follow a scheduled route—already planned for you—visiting properties, removing dog waste, and upholding our standards of quality and care. If you enjoy working outdoors in a small team, love dogs, and take pride in a job well done, we’d love to talk to you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Thorough Cleanup: Collaborate with your partner to remove pet waste from lawns, gardens, and common areas, leaving them spotless and safe.
  • Health & Safety Focus: Adhere to sanitation procedures that protect you, your teammate, clients, and pets—from proper tool usage to safe waste disposal.
  • Team Coordination: Work effectively with your partner to manage tasks, stay on schedule, and provide feedback on daily operations.
  • Route Execution: Follow an assigned route each day; you’ll need reliable transportation to get to and from Pooptopia's home base.
  • Customer Interaction: Communicate courteously with clients when on-site, addressing any questions or special requests.
  • Documentation: Log completed visits and note any relevant property observations (e.g., gate conditions, unusual waste, pet health concerns).

Who We’re Looking For

  • Dog-Friendly Demeanor: Comfortable around dogs of all sizes. (Not to worry, only the friendly ones come out to say hi.)
  • Dependable & Team-Oriented: Enjoy collaborating, solving problems together, and supporting your partner on the job.
  • Physically Capable: Bending, lifting, and walking outdoors are daily requirements.
  • Attention to Detail: Committed to leaving every yard ready for family fun—no spot missed.
  • Positive Mindset: Even though the tasks can be a bit messy, you recognize the real impact of providing families with a healthier yard.
  • Reliable Transportation: You must be able to meet your partner and travel to route locations on schedule.
