Overview

The AI Data Sales Consultant is responsible for generating new business opportunities and closing dataset licensing deals with AI companies, enterprise technology organizations, and related customers. This role focuses on leveraging existing relationships, identifying customer needs, and positioning pocstock’s content and data offerings as valuable assets for AI and technology use cases.

  • Generating qualified opportunities and closing revenue-generating dataset deals
  • Building strong relationships with AI and enterprise buyers
  • Expanding pocstock’s presence within the AI and data marketplace


Role & Responsibilities

In this role, you will:


  • Identify, engage, and develop relationships with AI companies, enterprise buyers, and technology organizations
  • Leverage existing industry relationships and networks to generate new opportunities
  • Lead conversations to understand customer data needs and use cases
  • Present pocstock’s dataset and licensing offerings to prospective customers
  • Develop proposals, pricing structures, and deal terms in collaboration with leadership
  • Manage active opportunities through the sales process from introduction to close
  • Coordinate with internal operations and delivery teams to align customer requirements with execution capabilities
  • Maintain visibility into pipeline activity, deal progress, and forecasting
  • Stay informed on AI, data licensing, and enterprise technology trends

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or strategic partnerships
  • Proven experience selling AI, data, SaaS, or enterprise technology solutions
  • Existing relationships within AI companies, enterprise technology organizations, or related industries required
  • Strong understanding of AI, datasets, and data licensing business models
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
  • Experience managing long and complex sales cycles
  • Self-directed, proactive, and results-driven
  • Comfortable operating independently in a remote environment
