Business Development Associate / Assistant Manager (RFP & Strategic Partnerships)

Location: Southlake, TX | Full-time | Reports to: CEO

 The Opportunity

We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Development Associate / Assistant Manager to drive viveEV’s participation in public funding and RFP opportunities across the United States.

In this role, you’ll combine research, strategy, and storytelling to help viveEV win projects — from identifying new programs and building partnerships to crafting compelling proposals.

You’ll work across departments and alongside external partners to turn opportunities into revenue and impact. If you’ve ever helped a team win a competitive bid or worked on a grant proposal, this is your chance to do it at scale.

What You’ll Do


  • Identify and track government, utility, and private RFP opportunities aligned with viveEV/s business goals.
  • Lead coordination of proposal development — gathering inputs from sales, policy, product, and operations teams.
  • Draft and refine clear, persuasive proposals that communicate technical capability and value.
  • Build relationships with utilities, agencies, and site hosts to strengthen viveEV’s visibility in funding programs.
  • Maintain organized internal systems for deadlines, submissions, and reporting.
  • Prepare executive briefings and summaries on funding landscapes and partnership opportunities.

What You Bring


  • 0-2 years of experience in business development, RFP management, or public-sector partnerships, ideally in EV charging, cleantech, or energy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to tell a clear and convincing story.
  • Strong organization and project coordination abilities you thrive under multiple deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret RFP requirements and structure compliant responses.
  • Experience in government, military, or public affairs is a plus.
