POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Project Billing Specialist to join our US Accounting & Finance team and play a critical role in supporting our rapidly growing business. In this role, you’ll manage client billing, timesheet reviews, and related processes, contributing to the success of multiple projects across the organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Project Managers: Ensure timesheets and project statuses are current and accurate.
  • Timesheet Processing: Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion and submission.
  • Expense Report Review: Verify accuracy and completeness of expense reports.
  • Invoice Preparation: Create and issue invoices based on project progress and completion.
  • Payment Application: Apply payments received to outstanding invoices and track customer balances.
  • Customer Follow-Up: Communicate with clients to resolve outstanding payments and maintain updated records.
  • System Updates: Record invoices and payments in financial systems and set up new projects as needed.
  • Client Systems Management: Competently navigate platforms like Coupa and E-Builder for invoicing tasks.

  • Experience: At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in a billing, accounts receivable, revenue accounting or similar role; Preferably within the architectural, engineering, construction or related industries.
  • System Knowledge: Familiarity with Deltek products or similar ERP systems preferred.
  • Billing Expertise: Deep understanding of billing processes and their impact on accounting and finance.
  • Accountability: A self-driven individual who delivers on deadlines with high-quality output.
  • Team Player: Exemplary teamwork skills with a focus on engagement and collaboration.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication, paired with a motivated and energetic approach.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to review and process critical financial documents with accuracy.
