As an Assistant Project Manager at PM2, you will support the project management team in overseeing construction projects from initiation to completion. Your role will involve close collaboration with project stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. 



  • Collaborate with the project team to create, update, and oversee project schedules, budgets, and progress reports. Ensure comprehensive documentation and accurate tracking of all project management activities, including operational details, scheduling, and financial expenditures, to facilitate effective management and transparency throughout the project lifecycle. 
  • Support the project management team in facilitating effective communication and coordination among all project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory agencies. Assist in coordinating and managing subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. 
  • Assist in providing exceptional customer service by helping to resolve project-related issues and conflicts in a timely and professional manner, ensuring smooth project progression and stakeholder satisfaction. 
  • Support the project manager in conducting regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance, and ensure documentation is updated.0 
  • Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure adherence to project requirements. 
  • Monitor and document all requests for information (RFIs), change orders, and other project documentation and ensure that accountable parties make progress on outstanding items and communicate to clients in a timely fashion.  
  • Support the procurement process by soliciting bids, evaluating proposals, and negotiating contracts with subcontractors and suppliers. 
  • Assist the project manager with contract review and execution of project responsibilities based on contract terms. 
  • Manage project closeout, create maintenance and operation manuals, and other required project closeout documents. 
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement. 



  • While a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field is preferred, we highly value practical experience. Candidates with significant work experience in these fields are encouraged to apply, as hands-on experience may serve as a substitute for formal education. 
  • 2+ years of experience in construction project management or a related field is required. Knowledge of construction principles, practices, and techniques, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. 
  • Demonstrate proficiency in reading construction plans and specifications. 
  • A history of strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work well under pressure of deadlines. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. 
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools, including Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project, is highly valued. Additionally, familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite is preferred, as these skills are essential for effective project management and documentation. 
  • We desire candidates who have obtained or are pursuing the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
