**Event Staff – Position Overview** We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Event Staff. In this role, you will support the successful execution of events by assisting with setup, guest services, crowd management, and teardown. Ideal candidates are team players with strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to work in fast-paced environments. This position may involve evening or weekend shifts depending on event schedules. Experience is preferred but not required—training will be provided.

Description
Event Staff responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Venue Preparation: assist in setting up venue according to the event plan
- Equipment Check: ensure equipment is functional and setup as needed
- Signage and Directions: place signs and informational materials to guide attendees
- Guest Assistance: welcome attendees, check tickets, and provide directions
- Vendor Coordination: liaise with vendors and service providers
- Problem Solving: address any issues or emergencies that arise during the event
- Crowd Management: monitor and manage crowd flow
- Support Services: support vendors as needed
- Dismantling Setup: take down decorations and equipment
- Inventory and Storage: return equipment and materials to their proper storage locations
- Venue Inspection: ensure venue is reasonably clean and all items are accounted for
- Activation Assistance: assist in interactive activities (e.g., raffles, mascot performance, demonstrations, activity stations), answer questions, encourage attendee participation
Salary
$16.5 - $16.5 per hour
