Sales Associate – Plant and People Shop + Café

As we expand into our new location, we’re looking for an energetic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. If you have a passion for plants, sustainability, and exceptional customer service, we’d love to meet you!

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and personalized customer service in both the retail and café areas.
• Educate customers on plant care, wellness products, and café offerings.
• Assist customers with selecting plants, pots, and accessories based on their needs and lifestyle.
• Prepare and serve café beverages and light food items as needed.
• Process transactions efficiently using the POS system.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting shop and café space, including plant displays and seating areas.
• Assist with inventory management, restocking, and receiving shipments.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance the customer experience.
• Help reach goals and targets
• Manage social media content

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience in retail, customer service, or hospitality (experience in plant care or cafés is a plus!).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for helping others.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Interest in plants, sustainability, and wellness culture.

Must be available for weekend shifts and occasional evening events.

• 5 to 8 hour shift
• Holidays
• Weekends as needed
