Some of the challenges you'll be able to tackle:
- What are the right abstractions for data, models, and execution, so that we abstract away an application’s data plumbing, without limiting its flexibility around AI ops?
- How do we orchestrate heterogeneous compute resources (CPU and GPU) efficiently?
- What data model will enable us to drive multimodal, incrementally updated workflows at scale?
- How do we maintain a unified view of data and model lineage, spanning ingestion, transformation, training/fine-tuning, and inference?
You will also:
- Find opportunities to go deep into a wide range of cutting-edge AI tools, as we continually seek to integrate the latest technologies into Pixeltable
- Be a partner in shaping the Pixeltable product from the ground up
- Enjoy industry-leading compensation and benefits: we don’t believe you should have to sacrifice to be a part of a great founding team
The Pixeltable founders have a combined 40+ years of tech industry experience. We’ve seen what works and what doesn’t and are committed to building a high-performing, inclusive team with a professional, low-ego culture. In the most successful engineering teams, fresh ideas are always welcomed, disagreements are resolved with healthy and open debates, and every person on the team has the agency to contribute at their highest level. We believe that a team's success depends as much upon these ingredients as on the product or technology itself.
The Pixeltable engineering team is based in San Francisco, CA, with a hybrid workplace. Team members are expected to be physically present in the San Francisco office ~2 days per week.
