Our small team is racing ahead into commercial demonstrations and is seeking a full-time Electrical/Computer Engineer or Embedded Programmer to help with our growing product lines.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Electrical/Computer Engineer or Embedded Programmer located in Boise, ID. This role  will be responsible for developing drone-deployable sensors and will assist with other startup programming and electrical engineering tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop next-generation wireless drone-deployable line sensor
• Assist with drone electrical engineering and misc tasks

Minimum Qualifications

• B.S. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
• 3 years of engineering work experience
• Experience with Arm Cortex programming 
• Experience with C, C++
• Experience writing and testing sensor drivers
• Experience integrating various comms protocols (I2C, UART, CAN, etc)
• Experience with Embedded Coding

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with wireless communications
• Experience with remote firmware deployment and chip-to-chip reprogramming
• Experience with RF detection of partial discharge
• Power line sensor experience
• Experience with APIs & Cloud Interfaces
• FPGA experience
• Circuit and PCB design
