Daily duties will be focused on taking care of walk-in customers, running service and setting up for daily sales.
Pinkerton’s is a newly opened bakery & café in Kingston, NY. We are currently seeking a customer facing, skilled individual to lead our retail counter team.

A minimum of three years of customer service experience in a food-based establishment, such as a high end bakery, café, and/or restaurant is required. The candidate will have sales experience, excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, be educated in food and beverage and the ability to work well under pressure all while maintaining high standards. Knowledge and experience in making espresso drinks and latte art is necessary. The position is a part time position with a minimum of three shifts a week required, and a possibility of more shifts becoming available in the future.
Responsibilities include managing, assisting and educating walk-in customers, answering the phone, packaging products, setting up for daily sales, and collaborating with the kitchen team to meet daily business needs. Other tasks will include making coffee, espresso drinks, and sometimes heating food in a small convection oven, washing dishes from the day's set up and service and cleaning the FOH kitchen and customer areas. Candidates must be available for early morning shifts, midday shifts and weekend shifts.
