Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and provide friendly, professional service.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Verify guest age and identification before serving alcoholic beverages.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool deck, lounge chairs, tables, and bar area.
- Set up and replenish towels, umbrellas, and other pool amenities as needed.
- Restock beverages, ice, mixers, garnishes, and bar supplies throughout the shift.
- Process guest payments accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Monitor the pool area for cleanliness and report any safety concerns to management.
- Follow all health, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
- Perform opening and closing duties, including cleaning and securing the bar area.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests to ensure a positive poolside experience.
Qualifications:
- Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred.
- Valid alcohol server certification, if required by state or local law.
- Knowledge of standard cocktail recipes and responsible alcohol service.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to prepare and serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory
