Entry Level - This position will work under the guidance of a certified pool technician to develop the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively provide pool service and maintenance to our clients. This is an entry-level position that requires the ability to lift up to 75lbs.
Daily responsibilities and learning opportunities include:
- Assisting in implementing safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment.
- Inspecting equipment and fixtures for performance issues and identifying the need for repairs or replacements.
- Conducting chemical analysis and following industry and regulatory standards when handling and dispensing chemicals.
- Calculating water flow rates and turnover rates, as well as determining appropriate pump and filter sizes.
- Performing routine maintenance to prevent equipment malfunctions.
- Managing chemical and biological distribution systems efficiently.
- Programming and maintaining timers and control systems for pools, spas, and hot tubs.
- Cleaning and maintaining pools, spas, and hot tubs.
- Providing exceptional customer service to clients.
- Conducting chemical analysis and ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards for chemical treatment systems.
- Troubleshooting and maintaining control systems for pools, hot tubs, and spas.
- Identifying various water filtering systems and ensuring they are operating efficiently by cleaning or replacing them as necessary.
